Herdsmen surrender 30 guns to police in Niger

Fulani herders have surrendered 30 unique weapons wrongfully gained, to the Police Command in Niger.

The Director-General of the state's Department of Nomadic Affairs, Alhaji Abdullahi Babayo, uncovered this in a meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Tuesday.

Babayo said that the arms were surrendered following peace and compromise started by the office to improve quiet concurrence in the state.

He said the office had just set out on forceful sensitization battle on the threats of steers stirring.

"We have connected with Islamic ministers, particularly to show us what our religion said in regards to taking and murdering pure souls and the discipline thereafter," he said.
