At least 39 dead as plane crashes at Kathmandu airport

The plane crashed after approaching the runway from the wrong end, an official reported.
No less than 39 individuals are dead after a plane slammed on the runway while arriving at Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal on Monday, police representative Manoj Neupane detailed.

The air ship, which has a place with US-Bangla Airlines, an exclusive Bangladeshi transporter, discovered fire while arriving at 2:15 p.m. nearby time, the police representative said Thirty-one bodies were recouped at the crash site, and eight others kicked the bucket in the healing centers they were taken to. There are currently 23 individuals getting treatment, Neupane said.

There were 71 travelers on the plane including the group, said Kamrul Islam, the head of advertising for US-Bangla.

The plane moved toward the runway from the wrong heading, as indicated by the chief of the airplane terminal.

"The plane had authorization to arrive from the southern side of the runway yet they rather arrived from the northern side. Experts don't know why they didn't arrive from the southern side," Raj Kumar Chhetri, General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport, told CNN.

As indicated by Flightradar24, the plane was a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, which the organization depicts as "the world's most current turboprop."

An air terminal authority said the plane was flight BS 211, yet hung up the telephone without giving some other points of interest. That flight began in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
